About The Author
I am an informed dental patient and a consumer expert who experienced periodontal disease, jawbone loss, tooth loss, and denture gain. My mission is to educate and help others save their teeth or accept and laugh through the fear, discomfort, and surprises of tooth loss and denture gain with humor and hope.
I know what they don’t put in that little piece of paper with your home care instructions.
Written from a patient’s perspective, Got Teeth? A Survivor’s Guide: How to keep your teeth or live without them, is a comprehensive look at oral health, the mouth/body connection, and life with a denture from a woman with a negative dental record.
As a featured expert blogger on Wellsphere.com in the Dental Community, I ranked #12 in the 2008 People’s Health Blogger Awards thanks to my readers.I am a member of the National Association of Baby Boomer Women (NABBW) and AARP’s Activist Network.
